How are puppy choices made?
Matching a litter of puppies and a group of prospective owners is very challenging and I spend many a sleepless night trying to figure it out. I develop ideas from the applications as the puppies grow, then decide right after puppy testing and suggest the choice to the owner. So far everyone has agreed with my choices. What the "pick" means is that I suggest the right puppy match and if the owner disagrees we look at the remaining pool of puppies. There are certain criteria that restrict the choices: children, allergies, and other pets. An owner will get the most temperamentally suitable puppy for them if gender and color are out of the equation! I make the choice of puppy with the aid of the application, temperament test, and a survey. My goal is happy puppies and happy people!
