Yarrow is representing his brothers and sisters. These are the allocation pictures, which, along with the temperament tests on December 30 will help with puppy decisions. They are all very cute and dark red. The rest of the pictures can be seen here.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS from the Prairie Flowers
Posted: December 24, 2011 - 17:26Prairie Flowers go outside for the first time.
Posted: December 19, 2011 - 21:38Colorado gave us two of those excellent 55 degree days in winter, and the puppies and Prairie got to go outside . The pups were a bit tentative but soon got used to the new experience. Prairie played with them and they growled and pounced on her!
They learned veery quickly to get on and off the deck, smart, coordinated puppies!

Prairie Flowers are venturing out of the whelping box...
Posted: December 10, 2011 - 21:39At 4 weeks they are playing wildly in their pen and returning to the whelping box to sleep. They have been lapping milk for a few days and today they tried ground chicken in their milk - and loved it. This starts the weaning process and Prairie says hooray. She takes very good care of them and rushes to the puppy room if they get loud.

Lessie's Litter Zoe
Posted: November 28, 2011 - 22:22Zoe is available. She should mature in the 20 to 25 pound range. She has a red wavy coat, and a sparkling personality and shining dark brown eyes. She has a kink at the end of her tail. She loves people and especially children. She is crate trained and sleeps all night. She is paper trained and leash trained.
She came back to me because her owner has severe allergies and could not decide if Zoe was contributing. I am sure she would be fine with mild allergies.
Zoe has found a perfect home!

Prairie's Pups at 9 days
Posted: November 19, 2011 - 12:34What a fat and happy bunch they are. Early Neural Stimulation in its 6th day. They are protesting less today, the first days were loud and wiggly. My theory is the more they protest, the more they learn! Cut nails for the first time today and they were all pretty good.
In the next posting they will have their eyes open!
Prairie's Pups are 5 days old
Posted: November 15, 2011 - 00:06All 5 pups are thriving! They are all at about one pound weight already. Prairie takes good care but will leave the whelping box without being dragged out to go outside. She still gets her meals "in bed"
