Daisy's Radiograph showed 9 puppies waiting to make their appearance into the world the beginning of next week. I will post a picture as soon as they arrive.
Prairie's puppies are strong and active. They nursed right away and Prairie is being her usual vigilant, nurturing self. They are one hour old in this picture. There are 3 boys; Matt, Dillon and Tex, and two girls; Kitty and Lil. I will be introducing them individually soon.
Good news for those waiting for Daisy's puppies! She is pregnant and there were enough developing puppies for Dr Burns to venture a count. Counts at ultrasound are pretty difficult!
Her puppies should be here May 22. Watch for a better count at radiograph time around May 17.
Better start getting the spare room ready, Prairie and her brood will be in the puppy room!

Prairie had her ultrasound today and she is pregnant! We saw several gestational sacs with tiny puppies with beating hearts visible. She is right on schedule to deliver about May 11. The next step will be the radiograph to count puppies around May 4th.
