PGD temperament testing is done at 7 weeks, the optimum age to forecast adult temperament. The testing is done by Dr. Jennie Jamtgaard, an Applied Animal Behaviorist at Colorado State University. She uses a very gentle approach, but is very thorough, and her predictions have been right on. After the testing we discuss the applicants and the pups and this helps me make my placement choices to offer my owners.
